The Halal Correct Foundation has designed a systematic procedure for halal certification (see figure below).
All processes during the audit time is designed based on Halal Correct Quality manual which refers to ISO/IEC 17065:2012, GSO 2055-2021 and OIC/SMIIC 2:2019.
In addition, there are also some consideration based on the size, the complexity, the scope, products and production processes in the company (client).
All organizations sign a cooperation agreement, in which the procedure for both parties is described in a clear, recognizable and verifiable manner. Halal Correct is internationally recognized and works according to the quality standard GSO 2055-2:2021 and ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
Halal Correct therefore sets high standards for Halal Certification. The Halal Guidelines for Halal slaughter, meat processing, and process food procedures are laid down in the Halal Standard (650 2055:1:2021, OIC/SMIIC:1:2019, BPJPH number 20 year 2023, MS 1500:2009, MUIS standard.) Halal Correct Certification operates in accordance with various Halal certification schemes and management system standards, both internationally and locally. The group provides Halal certification based on recognized standards such as GSO 2055- 2:2021, OIC/SMIIC 1:2019, the Malaysian Halal Standards (MS 1500:2019), and the Indonesian BPJPH regulations. Where applicable, certification activities are also aligned with ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO 17021-1 and relevant management system principles to ensure transparency, technical competence, and impartiality. TQHCC’s certification schemes cover a wide range of sectors including food and beverage, chemical, and slaughterhouses.

The average duration of a Halal certification application ranges between 21 and 30 working days from the date of submission of a complete application. This duration includes the document review stage, the planning and execution of the audit, as well as the final evaluation prior to the issuance of the Halal certificate. The timeline may vary depending on the scope of certification, completeness of documentation, audit scheduling, and any required corrective actions.
Submit the Halal certification application along with required documents.
Initial review of submitted documents for completeness and compliance.
Scheduling the on-site audit and notifying the applicant.
Conducting the audit to assess compliance with Halal standards.
Preparing the audit report and addressing any non-compliance issues.
Reviewing the audit findings and making the certification decision.
Issuing the Halal certificate to the applicant upon successful compliance.
